You've probably heard it said that the average person uses less than 10% of the power of the human brain.

Consider the possibility that human beings have so far used less than 1% (one percent) of the potential power of the Bible.

The Bible has created peace and prosperity wherever it has been followed. The most peaceful and prosperous nations have been those that have respected the Bible. Nations that ban the Bible are plagued by war, slavery, and poverty.  But even in America, we have put only a tiny fraction of the Bible into practice.

The 5 Most Frequently Asked Questions

This is my opening line:

“I would like you to hire me as Your Bible Coach.”

Whenever I say this, I get five different questions, all phrased exactly the same way:

“Why Should I Hire You as My Bible Coach?”

I'm happy to answer all five questions.

#1 Why you should hire me as your  BIBLE  Coach.

In other words, the question is, Why should I care about the Bible?
Short Answer: The Bible is the most important book in the history of the human race.
Even if you don't believe it's "the Word of God."
If the Bible really is the Word of God, then the answer is obvious.
             See also Answer #3.
If you had lived in America 300 years ago, you wouldn't need a "Bible Coach" because you would have studied the Bible and gained a Christian world-and-life-view in school. The Bible made America the most prosperous and admired nation in history. The government banned the Bible and America is now bankrupt and despised. You too are a victim.
You pay (or somebody else pays) $13,000 a year to have one of your children mis-educated in a government-operated school which despises the Bible. For a fraction of that price, and in one year instead of twelve (12 x $13,000/yr = $156,000), you can experience the most profound, beneficial, massive, and lasting personal transformation of your entire life. Or we'll give you your tuition back.
The Bible contains the secrets to your success in life.
The Bible contains the solutions to all your problems.

#2 Why you should hire me as your Bible  COACH  .

In other words, the question is, What is a "Coach?"
Short Answer: If you want to become a professional tennis player, the first thing you should do is hire a professional tennis coach. A "Bible Coach" will help you use the most important book in the history of the human race. Like America, you will become prosperous and admired.

#3 Why  YOU  should hire me as  YOUR  Bible Coach.

Short Answer: You are a victim of Educational Malpractice.
Yes, you.
Complete Answer

#4 Why you should hire  ME  as your Bible Coach.

Short Answer: Shop and compare. The Bible says
                            Just as iron sharpens iron,
friends sharpen the minds of each other.
The other "Bible coaches" are soft, warm and fuzzy.
You will NOT experience the most profound, beneficial, massive, and lasting personal transformation of your entire life if you hire those other coaches.

#5 Why you should  HIRE  me as your Bible Coach.

In other words, why pay for something that is offered for free all over TV, radio, and the Internet?
Short Answer: “Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Matthew 6:21
“The laborer is worthy of his hire.” Luke 10:7; 1 Timothy 5:18
What's free is not valued. You need "skin in the game."
Also, nothing like this program is found anywhere else.
(The more you read this website, the more obvious that will appear.)
I recommend you start by paying me minimum wage ($10/hr).

Vine & Fig Tree

The name "Vine & Fig Tree" comes from the fourth chapter of the prophet Micah, and is set forth below. You've probably heard Micah's words before -- we beat our "swords into plowshares" and everyone dwells safely under their own "Vine & Fig Tree.

We believe "the real meaning of Christmas" is that Jesus is the Messiah and has already begun fulfilling this and other prophecies. Another word for "Messianic Age" is "Western Civilization."

America's Founding Fathers were familiar with this vision: "Vine & Fig Tree" is the worldview that made America "the greatest nation on God's green earth."

George Washington's Diaries are available online at the Library of Congress. The LOC.GOV website introduces Washington's writings with these words:
No theme appears more frequently in the writings of Washington than his love for his land. The diaries are a monument to that concern. In his letters he referred often, as an expression of this devotion and its resulting contentment, to an Old Testament passage. After the Revolution, when he had returned to Mount Vernon, he wrote the Marquis de Lafayette on Feb. 1, 1784:

"At length my Dear Marquis I am become a private citizen on the banks of the Potomac, & under the shadow of my own Vine & my own Fig-tree."

This phrase occurs at least 11 times in Washington's letters.

"And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree" (2 Kings 18:31).

Peter Lillback, author of a 1,000-page study of Washington's life and thought, has found more than 40 references to the “Vine and Fig Tree” vision in Washington's Papers.
Many other American Founders wrote of this ideal.
"Vine & Fig Tree" is the original "American Dream."
The phrase occurs a number of times in Scripture. These references are visual reminders of the Hebrew word for salvation, which means
  • deliverance
  • victory
  • security
  • peace
  • wholeness
  • health
  • welfare, and
  • private property free from princes and pirates.
When today's Americans hear the word "salvation," they usually think about going to heaven when they die. When the writers of the Bible used the word "salvation," they wanted you to be thinking about dwelling safely under your own Vine & Fig Tree during this life -- much more often than they wanted you to be thinking about what you'll be doing in the afterlife.

The best place to see the Vine & Fig Tree ideal is in the book of Micah.

Let's look at Micah's prophecy (on the left) and ask a few questions (on the right):
And it will come about in the last days
That the mountain of the House of the LORD
Will be established as the chief of the mountains
And it will be raised above the hills
Are we in the "last days?"

When did this establishment take place?

And the peoples will stream to it.
And many nations will come and say,
"Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD
And to the House of the God of Jacob,
Is Christianity doomed to minority status throughout history? Hasn't Christianity been growing since the first century?
That He may teach us about His ways
And that we may walk in His paths."
For from Zion will go forth the Law
Even the Word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
What should be the Christian's attitude toward the Law? Isn't every Word of a "Lord" "Law?"
And He will judge between many peoples
And render decisions for mighty, distant nations.
Then they will hammer their
swords into plowshares
And their spears into pruning hooks;
Nation will not lift up sword against nation
And never again will they train for war.
Are we commanded to beat our swords into plowshares today? Or do we wait for the Second Coming?

Are Christians "pacifists?"
And each of them will sit under his   What is a family?
What about private property?
Vine and under his  fig tree,
With no one to make them afraid.
For the LORD of hosts has spoken.
What about technology? What about the military? What about "public works?" What is it that really brings "security" and "prosperity?"
Though all the peoples walk
Each in the name of his god,
As for us, we will walk
In the Name of the LORD our God
forever and ever.
What if all the politicians, university professors, TV commentators, bloggers, newspaper editors, rock stars, scientists, CEO's, celebrities, athletes, authors, and think-tanks repudiate the Vine & Fig Tree vision and tell you not to believe it?
In that day, saith the LORD,
will I assemble her that halteth,
and I will gather her that is driven out,
and her that I have afflicted;
And I will make her that halted a remnant,
and her that was cast far off a strong nation:
and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion
from henceforth, even for ever.
Should we strive to be on top, or to help those on the bottom? Is God on the side of those who have accomplished much by their own power and initiative, or is He on the side of those who are willing to be used by God to accomplish much to His Glory?

This vision stands in stark contrast to

  • Atheistic Communism
  • Secular Fascism, Socialism, Keynesianism
  • Both Republicans and Democrats
  • Christianity as seen in most churches
  • Christianity as portrayed by Hollywood
  • Christianity as taught in atheistic universities

In short, this is the vision

  • that made America
  • that was banned by the United States
  • that can heal the world.

And healing the world begins with you.

We as a society will never beat our "swords into plowshares" and live peacefully under our Vine & Fig Tree unless we as individuals declare our allegiance to the true "Ruler of Nations." That means you.

Answer #3: YOU are a Victim of Educational Malpractice

The United States Federal Government has made it illegal
for public school teachers to teach children the Bible
the way Jesus and the authors of the Bible would teach it.

If fact, because the Declaration of Independence ( America's "birth certificate" ) was based on the Bible, the Federal Government prohibits public school teachers from teaching students
that the Declaration of Independence is really true.
(Students can only be taught that a bunch of dead, white males used to believe it was true.)

As a result,

You are a victim of Educational Malpractice.

If any of the writers of the Bible could travel through time,
get acquainted with the last 2,000 years of human history
and talk with you for an hour,

they would say you are Biblically illiterate.

They would say you are a moral barbarian.

Sure, they would be impressed by your car, your microwave oven, and your smartphone -- but only for a short while. If they knew they were going to have to go back in time without any of your technology, they would be more impressed (negatively) by the fact that in the last 50 years, your government has killed, crippled, or made homeless tens of millions of innocent non-combatant civilians around the world to protect the hegemony of U.S. global capitalism, seize natural resources, and pay laborers pennies to work under slave conditions. You, on the other hand, know that by ignoring these facts and keeping silent about them, you get to keep the trinkets.

Jesus Christ was perfectly sinless, and yet He was executed by the government on a cross -- a barbaric and savage method of torturing someone to death. Jesus told His followers to "take up your cross and follow Me" to Death Row. Jesus told His followers not to be like "the kings of the Gentiles," who think they have the right to impose their religion and politics on others by the sword. Jesus called these kings "archists," and said we are not to be like them, but are to be "servants." If you are not an "archist," and don't believe Rome had a right to invade Israel and put her under military subjugation, then you risk being called an "an-archist" by any government which does not acknowledge Jesus as the Messiah, King of kings and Lord of lords.

Like our government.

Are you ready to be jailed or executed as an "anarchist" because you follow Jesus the pacifist?

This is very controversial rhetoric. But it is also very practical.

What kind of human being are you if you don't react with horror at the prospect of millions of innocent human beings being killed, crippled, or made homeless by "your" government? If you think mass murder -- e.g., the intentional destruction of pure water to foment epidemics of disease, and the killing of a greater number of Iraqi children than the total number of people killed by the atomic bombing of Japan -- is morally acceptable behavior, will that change the way you as a parent treat your own children, or the way you as a teacher treat your students, or the way you as an employer treat your employees?

It affects us all. It turns out our entire society is dominated by the myth that "anarchists" are "the bad guys." Logically, that means "archists" are the good guys, which is exactly the opposite of what Jesus said.

Are you an Archist?

You are an "archist" if
 • you initiate force against your neighbor
 • or threaten your neighbor with violence and harm
 • in order to compel your neighbor to think or to do
 • what you think your neighbor ought to think or do.

You are also an "archist" if you "vote" for "The Candidate"
 • who promises to initiate force against your neighbor
 • in order to compel your neighbor to think or to do
 • what you think your neighbor ought to think or do.
"The Candidate" is also an "archist."

The initiation of "force" includes:
 • a threat to do harm or violence,
 • a threat to infringe on the other person's
     • life,
     • health,
     • wealth,
     • liberty,
 • or obstruct the other person's pursuit of happiness.

The myth that archists are the good guys pervades every area of our lives.

And most of us end up thinking, If "they" can use force to accomplish their public goals, why can't I use force to accomplish my private goals?

It isn't just "criminals" who think that way. "White-collar" criminals think the same way. Voters think the same way. Breaking that myth ("anarchists = bad; archists = good") will transform you, no matter who you are, or what you do in life:

A Christian Anarchist is a: An Archist is a:
husband/protector wife-beater
job-creator boss
civic leader tyrant
rescuer invader
classmate bully
pastor abuser
personal coach drill sergeant
evangelist terrorist

We have all been infected -- to one degree or another -- by the idea that it's OK to impose our will on others by force. You paid $10,000 for each member of your family to destroy the largest Christian community in the Arab World and convert it into an Islamic theocracy under Shariah Law. How would your life have been improved if you rejected the lies of archists in Washington D.C. and spent that money elsewhere?

For Candidates and Politicians, Bureaucrats and Tyrants, the "initiation of force" usually takes the form of

This is what "archists" do.

And ordinary people like you and me approve of this violence -- as long as it is applied to people we disagree with.

An "archist" is someone who believes he has a right to
impose his will on others by force.

Becoming a Christian Anarchist was the best decision I ever made, even though it cost me my career.

If you follow my program you will experience the most profound, lasting, and beneficial personal transformation of your entire life.

Or I will DOUBLE your money back.

Seeing through the anti-pacifist, anti-anarchist propaganda of the government-controlled media will transform every area of your life. You will be amazed.

“Houston, we have a problem”

If George Washington could travel two centuries through time, and see what has happened to the United States of America, he would be horrified. He would be outraged.
He would see we have a big problem.
The first problem is that most people don't see we have a problem.
Even America's most intelligent, most patriotic citizens -- like you -- would be taken back if George Washington looked you right in the eye and said,
YOU have a problem.”
It's not just that George Washington fought a government which was like a cockroach in a child's sandbox that needed to be removed. Our government is like a huge Godzilla, towering like a skyscraper, crushing whole schoolyards full of children with one foot.
George Washington would say to you,
You ARE the problem.”
We want to think we are the solution, and everyone else is the problem.
But the solutions to America's problems do not begin with others, they begin with you.
The Solution begins with recognizing this embarrassing problem:

You are a Victim of Educational Malpractice

There were three things taught in every public school classroom in America when George Washington went to school. All three have been banned by the federal government from today's schools, and from the schools you went to.

You probably spent 17 years of your life in government-approved classrooms, and they were sanitized from the three most important things that would have made you
    •  an extraordinary American
    •  an extraordinary Christian
    •  an extraordinary Human Being
Amazingly, in just one year, our online home study program can duplicate a colonial American public school education in the essential points you were deprived of. (We don't teach "the three R's.")

OK Kevin, I'm willing to give you a try.
I understand I can schedule my first coaching call
at no cost and no obligation.
I'll pay you when I'm satisfied you've earned it.

Q. What makes you qualified to be a "Bible Coach?"

Answer #5:

I will help you ask questions about the Bible that your church, your school, and your government don't want you to ask.
These are the very same questions that God (the Author of the Bible) and the human penmen who wrote the Words of God in the Bible would want you to ask about the Bible.

I'm not a prophet or guru. This isn't psychotherapy. I'm the teacher in a one-room school house in 1776. I had never heard of the term "Bible Coach" before I made it up. I registered this domain in January of 2006. There's one or two other people on the Internet who describe themselves as a "Bible Coach." Anybody could be your "Bible Coach." You could ask a homeless wino to show up on your doorstep every morning and remind you to read your Bible and you would be better off than you are with no coach at all. You will be a "Bible Coach" when you finish this program. You wasted 12 years of your life in atheistic schools without learning diddly about the Bible, the most important book in the history of the human race. We need to correct that. Let's get started.

You should hire somebody -- anybody -- to encourage you and hold you accountable to a curriculum which will transform you into

  • An Extraordinary American,
• An Extraordinary Christian,
  • An Extraordinary Human Being

This course will do that. Guaranteed.

Here are two verses which highlight the best features of this program. First, the Bible talks about Christians in the city of Berea, and how they responded to the teachings of the Apostles:

Now these were more noble than those in Thessalonica,
in that they received the Word with all readiness of the mind,
searching the Scriptures daily, whether these things were so.
Acts 17:10-12

This is a key to your success -- meaningful contact with God's Word every day to see if what you've been taught in the mainstream media and atheistic schools is really true. (It's not.)

You can do that on your own, of course, but then you'll miss this feature:

Just as iron sharpens iron, friends sharpen the minds of each other.
Proverbs 27:17

You're not going to agree with everything I say about the Bible, Christian doctrine, law, economics, and history, but I will show you my sources and challenge you to re-think what you've always heard. By the end of the program, you'll see things like you've never seen them before, even if you still don't agree with everything I believe. My "iron" will "sharpen" your mind. I always try to be courteous and respectful toward those who disagree with me. I probably used to think about the Bible the same way you do now. You'll either say I'm "patient" or "relentless." I'm committed to giving you the same Bible-based worldview education that made Americans so prosperous and admired a couple of centuries ago.

About Kevin Craig - Personal History

Christian Reconstructionism

Before I graduated from high school, I had come in contact with R.J. Rushdoony [Google], founder of the "Christian Reconstruction" movement. Soon thereafter, I wanted to be "the next Rushdoony" when I grew up. Some would say neither one has happened yet. I became a "Chalcedon Scholar" and wrote a regular column for The Chalcedon Report. I substituted on occasion for Rev. Rushdoony in the pulpit which he regularly occupied and from which he first delivered the contents of his magnum opus, The Institutes of Biblical Law. I was an overnight guest at his home. David Chilton and I met regularly with Rushdoony for mentoring. The Institute for Christian Economics (Gary North) also published several of my articles. North described this article as "dynamite."

Rushdoony was influential in starting the "scientific creationism" movement, by getting a book called The Genesis Flood published. Becoming a creationist was for me the first of many radicalizing departures from the status quo. My first article published by Chalcedon was on the creationist issue.

One of Rushdoony's protégés was Greg Bahnsen, who wrote the book Theonomy in Christian Ethics (1977). "Theonomy" comes from two Greek words meaning "God's Law." The alternative is man's law, or autonomy.

Vine & Fig Tree

I graduated from USC with a degree in political science in 1979. Because of the negative things Rushdoony said about secular universities, I did not want to go to college, hoping to move more directly to a Rushdoony-like career, but my father (a USC alumnus) was insistent. Perhaps the most enjoyable class I had was a class on "Political Philosophy" with John Hospers, who had been the Chairman of the Philosophy Department until he ran for President as the Libertarian Party candidate in 1972. Hospers could be described as a "minarchist." He believed society needed a small civil government. One of his recommended textbooks was Murray Rothbard's For A New Liberty. This was a breathtaking book in the mid-1970's. Rothbard argued that society needed no "civil government" whatsoever. I didn't think Hospers defended his minimal state against Rothbard's critique. My memory of chronology fails me, but if I was not an anarchist walking into Hospers' class, I was when I walked out.

I am Not an Archist.

Beginning around 1978 I began writing for an organization I envisioned called Vine & Fig Tree, which obtained tax-exempt status from the IRS as a non-profit corporation in 1982. The name comes from the Old Testament Prophet Micah, who spoke of a day when we beat our "swords into plowshares" and everyone dwells securely under his own vine and fig tree. More Info. I received positive encouragement on this venture from Dorothy Rushdoony, and on the trip back home from Vallecito, I think I realized that my future was not with Chalcedon, but rather with Vine & Fig Tree. My "swords into plowshares" pacifism, combined with a rejection of capital punishment (on strictly "Theonomic" grounds), seemed to me to be the logical development of Rushdoony's thinking, but ran contrary to the prevailing views of the "Christian Reconstructionist" mainstream.

School Teacher

My mother taught in California public schools for 30 years. The first job I had after graduating from college was teaching in a small Christian school. Part of our ministry to the homeless was teaching English as a second language to dozens of "illegal" immigrants. One of my housemates went on to teach in public schools, and I spent many hours helping her with bureaucratic administrative paper work.

Legal Education

Rushdoony was a proponent of Christian education, frequently appearing as an expert witness in Christian school cases vs. the increasingly-secular government. I worked with homeschoolers and studied law to help defend them in court. This was when homeschooling was illegal in California. By the time I passed the California Bar Exam, it was less persecuted. But then I was told by a Federal District Court in Los Angeles that because my allegiance to God was greater than my allegiance to the State, I could not be permitted to take the oath to "support the Constitution" required of all would-be attorneys, so I could not get a license to practice law. Details

I shared the pulpit at a small church in Anaheim, CA with David Chilton, until he joined Gary North, James B. Jordan and the "Christian Reconstructionists" in Tyler, TX. Greg L. Bahnsen, one of the leaders of the "Christian Reconstruction" movement and a pastor in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, wanted to see if he could get me ordained in the OPC by apprenticing me, rather than through the modern "seminary" system. I thought that was quixotic, but I enjoyed his one-on-one mentoring. Bahnsen was a Christian scholar with integrity and a sharp mind. Scholarship is a virtue. Bahnsen taught me that we should treat our intellectual opponents with Biblical love (1 Corinthians 13:5-7), and interact with their arguments with respect.

After passing the Bar Exam, I spent the better part of a decade with a small group of Christian anarchists who rented a large house in the "wrong" part of town and opened its doors to those who were homeless and wanted to get clean and sober, find a job, and save up first- and last-month's rent for a place of their own. We gave shelter and encouragement to over 1,000 people during the time I lived there, with an average of about 19 people at a time sharing our home, and served tens of thousands of meals and passed out thousands of bags of groceries to the poor in our neighborhood. We held weekly candlelight vigils in front of the Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station to question militarism and violence.

Our house was called "Isaiah House," and took its inspiration from Peter Maurin, a man who thought a great deal like Rushdoony. Maurin was a decisive influence in the life of Dorothy Day, a socialist agitator in the New Deal era, who converted to Christianity and founded the Catholic Worker movement, largely perceived today as a "left-wing" movement. Maurin said, "I am a radical of the right. I go right to the right because I know it is the only way not to get left." Maurin advised, "Read Our Enemy the State by Albert Jay Nock."

I moved in with these Catholic Anarchists because I saw in their kitchen and dining room the closest thing I'd seen to the L'Abri fellowship under Francis and Edith Schaeffer, a family setting I greatly admired and to which I aspired. The closest I came to the Schaeffers was seeing Francis Schaeffer live at the Anaheim Convention Center in 1977 when he was on tour promoting his book and film, How Should We Then Live.

When my father got lung cancer, I left the Catholic Worker and helped him gulp down 70 pills a day and daily pumped into his heart two liters of an anti-cancer solution under an FDA clinical trial in Houston, TX. After his death I moved my mother back to Missouri (where she was born), and our house was destroyed by a tornado. After being taken by helicopter to the hospital, she came back to my care on a feeding tube. For six years she was immobile, and for the last three years of her life my full-time job was turning her over in bed every three hours to avoid bed sores. She died a few hours before 2015 began.

2016 and Beyond

During all of the above, I have been researching and writing, preparing to advance the Vine & Fig Tree vision, and have produced in the neighborhood of 2,000 webpages and blog posts. Some of them have been duplicated on other sites by people I don't think I've even met.

I have also been a candidate for U.S. Congress, both before and after I moved to Missouri. I haven't been able to get out of the house to do much campaigning recently, but I've still managed to be the top vote-getter among Libertarian Party Congressional candidates in Missouri for the last few elections.

My personal library is over 10,000 volumes, including an average of ten commentaries for every book of the Bible. But in the age of the Internet, libraries can be like a museum. I love researching answers to my clients' questions. Become one now.

OK Kevin, I'm willing to give you a try.

Answer #1: The Bible is the most important book in the history of the human race

This is true even if you don't believe that it is the very Word of God, but just a human document.

  • No other book has inspired the building of more hospitals, schools, universities, or orphanages.
  • No other book has inspired more lasting works of art.
  • No other book has raised the standard of living of more people.
  • No other book explains the origin of reason and why humans are more glorious than animals.
  • No other book has influenced more codes of law in more Western nations.
  • No other book from any other world religion (Buddhism, Confucianism, Hinduism, Islam) even makes the claim that its every word was breathed out by a personal God (who is not Himself part of the Creation), through human instruments He created to perfectly write the words God intended them to write for our benefit.
  • No other book has made a greater contribution to the building of "Western Civilization."
  • No other book has inspired more symphonies, oratorios, cantatas, or other enduring musical works.
  • No other book has brought more liberty, prosperity, and virtue to the world.
  • No other book can make you more fully, truly human.
  • No other book has been banned by more tyrannical governments.
  • No other book has caused more of its most faithful readers to be arrested and executed.
    Like Jesus.
  • Maybe that's why we shouldn't be surprised that . . .
  • The U.S. government banned the Bible from your public school education.
You should ask yourself why the government would do this.
I mean the real reason why.

What are the benefits of studying and applying the Bible?

The Marketing Department has told me to

"Lead with benefits! Consumers love benefits like:

• Lose 30 pounds in 30 days overnight!
• Turn your website into an ATM machine!
• Find another totally unique soul mate!
• 'Manifest' a seven-figure income!
• Travel around the world
• Expensive cars, big houses, fast boats!
• Never work again!"

I told The Marketing Dept. that nobody who comes to a website like this would fall for any of that.

Quite the contrary, by becoming a follower of Christ the executed anarchist, you may lose everything. In our day the "Bill of Rights" means nothing. You may become the object of government surveillance. The FBI or other government intelligence agencies may open a dossier on you and members of your family. Your participation and public affiliation with an "anarchist" website may lead to IRS harassment in the form of an audit or other legal inconveniences. You may be deemed an "enemy combatant." If your job required you to take an oath or sign a statement indicating your support of the U.S. Constitution, you may lose your job because you visit "anarchist" websites. Your house or place of business may be searched and your assets "forfeited." You may become targeted for assassination by one of 30,000 drones over U.S. skies. We cannot be responsible for these eventualities. You have to make the decision: will you be approved by the government, or will you be approved by God?

The Bible promises that if you meditate on God's Commandments (the basis for the anarchist character traits you will be gaining in our program) you will prosper:

Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. This book of the Law shall not depart out of thy mouth: but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Joshua 1:7-8

Therefore keep the words of this covenant, and do them, that you may prosper in all that you do.
Deuteronomy 29:9

And keep the charge of the LORD your God: to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His judgments, and His testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn;
1 Kings 2:3

But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
         Whose leaf also shall not wither;
whatever he does shall prosper.
Psalm 1:2-4

As we'll see below, Jesus requires His followers to be "extremists." America is a unique "laboratory experiment" that proves the benefits of Christian Anarchism. Imagine a political spectrum with "Christian Anarchism" on one extreme:

  • As America moved toward the side of "Christian Anarchism," America grew more prosperous and more admired around the world.
  • As America moved away from "Christian Anarchism" toward the side of Secular Fascism and Atheistic Communism, America has become bankrupt and despised.

Just like America, you may become prosperous and admired as employers, clients, or others see your non-archist character. Conversely, just like America, you may become bankrupt and despised as you become less anarchist and more like the Gentile archists (Mark 10:42-45).

Extreme Middle of the Road Extreme
Anarchism Apathy Archism, Tyranny
Theocracy:  "Liberty Under God" Lukewarm Atheism
Love Indifference Hate

Do you want to be a Grade "A" Christian?
Then you had better avoid being a Grade "Z" Christian with all your heart, mind, soul and strength.

The Bible also promises benefits for those who engage in "iron-sharpening":

Just as iron sharpens iron, friends sharpen the minds of each other.
Proverbs 27:17

Even if you don't become a Christian Anarchist, going through our program will be a mind-expanding, mind-sharpening discipline.

There is further benefit in the daily study of the Bible.

Now these were more noble than those in Thessalonica,
in that they received the Word with all readiness of the mind,
searching the Scriptures daily, whether these things were so.

Acts 17:10-12

George Washington, who struggled with archism, yearned for liberty and studied the Bible an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening.

A final benefit: Jesus will not vomit you out of His mouth if you become an anarchist and repudiate the imposing of your will on others by force. Jesus said we must be "extremists." There is no "moderate" or "neutrality" on this issue.

"I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. {16} So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth."
Revelation 3:15-16

14 “Now therefore, fear the LORD, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the LORD! 15 And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”
16 So the people answered and said: “Far be it from us that we should forsake the LORD to serve other gods;
Joshua 24:14-16

Mark 12
28 One of the scribes came near and heard them disputing with one another, and seeing that He answered them well, he asked Him, "Which commandment is the first of all?"
29 Jesus answered, "The first is, 'Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one;
30 you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.'
The second is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."
32 Then the scribe said to him, "You are right, Teacher; you have truly said that 'He is one, and besides Him there is no other';
33 and 'to love Him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the strength,' and 'to love one's neighbor as oneself,' -- this is much more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices."
34 When Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God." After that no one dared to ask Him any question.

Answer #2: What is a "Coach?"

A "Coach" will help you keep going and stay on track.
Almost anyone can function as a coach. You don't need a guru, expert, priest, Ph.D., or government official to help you.
Any ordinary, sensible, rational, good-hearted person can be your coach and hold you accountable.
Some people were blessed as children to have parents who coached them through the Bible. Parents are the greatest source of uncompensated labor on the planet.
The rest of us have to hire someone to compensate them for their time.
Get someone to be Your Bible Coach.

Q. What is a "Bible Coach?"
A. If you wanted to become a professional tennis player, the first thing you would do is hire a Tennis Coach. If you want to be skilled with the Bible and become "perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works," then you need to hire a Bible Coach. More.

Q. Why do I need a Bible Coach? I listen to a sermon at church once a week.
A. What's a "sermon?" Those Christians who met in homes in New Testament times would not recognize most of what is going on in the average "church" today. You don't know the Bible as well as the average 15-year old in colonial America, who studied the Bible every day in public school. Public schools were created in America over 300 years ago to make sure everyone in town could read the Bible. But the government banned the Bible from public schools in the 1960's. As a result, you are a victim of educational malpractice. One or two hours of entertainment on Sunday cannot counter 9am-3pm secular brainwashing for 12 formative years of your life.

As Your Bible Coach, I guarantee that my program will give you a much greater affection for the Bible and you'll be more confident than ever that the Bible is the Word of God.

Gentlemen, this is a football.”

The iconic coach Vince Lombardi began each season standing before a room full of professional NFL football veterans holding up a football and saying, "Gentlemen, this is a football."

As if they didn't know.

Lombardi's point: championship teams are made not by concocting unprecedented "Hail Mary" plays, but by going back to the basics, building a rock-solid foundation, and consistently executing disciplined progress toward the goal.

Once you lay a solid foundation and master the basics,
your personal coach can help you
overcome big problems
or achieve extraordinary goals
in all the most important areas of your life:

Faith Family Finances Fitness

• Big questions
• Purpose in life
• Pleasing God

• Who to marry
• Successful marriage
• Parenting

• Career change
• Getting out of debt
• Starting your own business

• Health
• Energy
• Longevity

... and many other goals to achieve and problems to solve

Your church does not want you to hire a "Bible Coach" who can help you understand and apply the Bible. It was the religious leaders of Jesus' day who wanted Jesus assassinated. The pagan Roman Empire saw no reason to punish Him.

John 18
38 Pilate went back outside to the Jews and told them, “I find no guilt in him39 But you have a custom that I should release one man for you at the Passover. So do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?” 40 They cried out again, “Not this man, but Barabbas!” Now Barabbas was an insurrectionist.

If you earn an average American salary and tithe to your church (does anybody still tithe in America?), then you are paying $100.00 a week to go to church. Are you getting your money's worth? By relegating your Christian life to one hour a week, are you obeying all the commands of our Lord, like these:

We're not saying you should stop attending your church. We're saying this program will equip you to be a more powerful servant of others at any church that will allow you to continue attending.

Your family needs you to hire a "Bible Coach" who can help you understand and apply the Bible.

The family is the most important institution in society. You should treat your wife the way Christ treats the church, and raise your children to be like Abraham. The Bible is a blueprint for your family.

Ephesians 5:25-33
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, 26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, 27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. 28 So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. 29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. 30 For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. 31 “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” 32 This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33 Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

Ephesians 6:4
And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.

The same government that banned the Bible from your public school also promotes "the sexual revolution." That "revolution" has left heartbreak in its trail. Consider these 12 victims of the "sexual revolution."

1. Child of Divorce
Your parents were divorced.
Is this what you were told?
  • Children are resilient.
  • Children don’t need to live with both their parents.
  • The children are fine as long as the adults are happy.
  • The children have no problem with the parents’ new love interests and new children.
2. Child of Unmarried Parents
Your parents were never married.
Is this what you were told?
  • Children don’t need two parents.
  • The children have no problem with the parent’s new love interests and new children.
  • Children don’t care if their parents are married or not.
3. Reluctantly Divorced Man or Woman
Your spouse wanted a divorce, but you wanted to stay married.
Is this what you were told?
  • Divorce is always mutual.
  • Everyone is always better off after divorce.
  • The government does not take sides in divorce and is always neutral.
4. Reluctantly Single Parent
You wished your child’s other parent had been an appropriate parent: you would have liked to be a married parent.
Is this what you were told?
  • No single parent ever wished that their child’s other parent would step up and be an appropriate parent.
  • Every unmarried mother is an undaunted self-sufficient individualist, who never really wanted to get married in the first place.
  • There are no single fathers.
5. Heartbroken Career Woman
You have a successful career, but fewer children than you wanted, and possibly are unmarried.
Is this what you were told?
  • Successful, educated women can “have it all,” including marriage and children.
  • Every career woman has complete control over her fertility for her entire career.
  • No career woman ever feels pressured to plan her child-bearing around the needs of her employer.
  • Childless career women have no regrets about not being mothers.
  • Unmarried career women have no regrets about being unmarried and are never lonely.
6. Donor Conceived Person
The people who raised you used donor sperm or egg to conceive you. You may have lived with one biological parent and one “social parent.”
Is this what you were told?
  • Donor Conceived Persons are thrilled to be completely “wanted” by their intended parents.
  • Donor Conceived Persons never have thoughts or cares about their biological parents or their biological origins.
  • Donor Conceived Persons don’t mind that financial transactions were part of their conception and birth.
7. Pornography Addict and Their Families
You or someone you love is addicted to pornography.
Is this what you were told?
  • Pornography is a victimless crime.
  • No one ever gets addicted to pornography.
  • No one ever advances from “innocent’” pornography use to criminal or violent activity.
  • No family members are harmed by pornography use.
8. Post Abortive Woman, or Man
You are a woman who had an abortion or you are a man whose wife or girlfriend had an abortion.
Is this what you were told?
  • No woman ever regrets her abortion.
  • Men don’t care about their aborted children.
  • Abortion solves all of the problems it claims to solve.
  • Men don’t want to be part of the decision to have an abortion.
9. Gay Lifestyle Refugee
You have lived a gay or lesbian lifestyle, and now wish to live some other way.
Is this what you were told?
  • No person who experiences same sex attraction has ever changed their behavior in any significant way.
  • Anyone who says otherwise is either deluded or lying.
  • Everybody opposed to homosexual practice is a bigot and a hater.
10. Refugee From the Hook-Up Culture
You have participated in the hook-up culture and now wish to live some other way.
Is this what you were told?
  • Casual sex is harmless, as long as you use a condom every time.
  • No one ever feels used, confused, or disappointed from hooking up.
  • No one feels jealous or hurt when their sex partners have sex with others.
11. Cohabiter With Regrets
You had a romantic relationship with someone you were not married to. You now wish that you had done differently.
Is this what you were told?
  • Cohabiting is as good as marriage, maybe better.
  • No one ever feels that they wasted years of their life cohabiting with someone who turned out to be not a suitable marriage partner.
  • Cohabiting is safer than marriage for women and children.
  • Couples who marry after cohabiting have happier marriages than those who do not.
12. People With Health Problems Due to Hook-Ups, Abortion, or Contraception
You have health problems ranging from depression to high blood pressure to diminished fertility that are associated with participation in the Sexual Revolution.
Is this what you were told?
  • There are no health risks associated with casual sex, if you use a condom every time.
  • There are no health risks associated with abortion.
  • “Legal abortion” always means “safe abortion.” • Contraception does not have health risks.

As you read down the list of the Victims of the Sexual Revolution, keep these questions in mind:

  • Was I a victim of injustice?
  • Did I make decisions based on faulty information?
  • Are people I love being harmed by misinformation?
  • Are people I love being harmed by their own misbehavior or someone else’s?

The Bible gives us a blueprint for healthy family relationships, which is the foundation for a healthy society.
The "Sexual Revolution" is a blueprint for short-sighted selfishness, and is destroying civilized society.

Your neighbors need you to hire a "Bible Coach" who can help you understand and apply the Bible.

Do your neighbors know that you're a Christian? Is your home a "city upon a hill" and a light to the neighborhood?

Luke 10:27-36
27 So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’”
28 And He said to him, “You have answered rightly; do this and you will live.”
29 But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?
30 Then Jesus answered and said: “A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. 31 Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.32 Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side.33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion. 34 So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 35 On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.’ 36 So which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?”

Your co-workers or employees need you to hire a "Bible Coach" who can help you understand and apply the Bible.

It is businesses, not governments, that raise the standard of living. Businesses, not governments, bring order to our lives -- if they are influenced by the Bible -- by rewarding punctuality, the "Protestant Work Ethic," courtesy, honesty, and many other Godly character traits, day-in, day-out. Human beings were created in the Image of God and given authority to "exercise dominion" by "doing business" -- not to dominate others by acting like the kings of the Gentiles. When we serve by working in a business -- rather than rule by taxing and threatening violence -- we have a peaceful and prosperous society.

But businesses that are not run according to the Bible are run by capitalists who want to be their own god.

Leviticus 19:13 Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning.

Deuteronomy 5:14 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou. [The Sabbath in American history]

Deuteronomy 24:14-15 Thou shalt not oppress an hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates: 15 At his day thou shalt give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and setteth his heart upon it: lest he cry against thee unto the Lord, and it be sin unto thee.

Proverbs 29:21 He that delicately bringeth up his servant from a child shall have him become his son at the length.

Jeremiah 22:13 Woe unto him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by wrong; that useth his neighbour's service without wages, and giveth him not for his work;

Malachi 3:5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the Lord of hosts.

Luke 10:7  the labourer is worthy of his hire.

Ephesians 6:9 And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.

Colossians 4:1 Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven.

1 Timothy 5:18 For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.

James 5:4 Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.

Your nation needs you to understand and apply the Bible.
America was based on the Bible.
America became the most prosperous and admired nation in history.
When America turned her back on the Bible,
the United States became bankrupt and despised even by our former admirers.
America's Founders appealed to "The Supreme Judge of the World."
Thomas Jefferson said,
“I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just,
that His justice cannot sleep forever.
Isaiah 60:12 For the nation and kingdom that will not serve Thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.

Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

Jeremiah 5:29 Shall I not visit for these things? saith the Lord: shall not My soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

Jeremiah 18:6-10 O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the Lord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel. 7 At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it; 8 If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them. 9 And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it;

Matthew 28:18-20
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Habakkuk 2:14
For the earth will be filled
With the knowledge of the glory of the Lord,
As the waters cover the sea.

As we mentioned above, in the last 50 years, the United States federal government has killed, crippled, or made homeless tens of millions of innocent non-combatant civilians around the world to protect its global reach.
• A million or more in Vietnam. Nearly a million in Cambodia and over half a million in Laos.
• A million killed in the "war on terror."
More wars than most Americans want to think about.
Every one of the wars of the U.S. have been immoral and unjust.
Plus a war on God and morality.
Spreading atheistic tentacles around the world, promoting abortion and homosexuality.
You've never really thought about it, but the United States is the most evil and dangerous entity on the planet. Sure, the government of North Korea might possibly be more evil than the U.S., but not more dangerous. Not more lethal.

But what can one person like you do against an Global Evil Empire?

  • A small butterfly flapping its wings in China can set in motion a sequence of events that results in a hurricane in Florida.
  • You are only separated by 5 people from the most ruthless dictator in the world. I plant the seeds of a Biblical world-and-life view in your heart,
    1. you tell a friend, who knows and tells
    2. a friend, who knows and tells
    3. a friend, who knows and tells
    4. a friend, who knows and tells
    5. a friend, who knows and tells
    6. Kim Jong-un, Supreme Leader of North Korea, and nuclear war is averted.

What Is the Bible All About?

1. The Universe was created by a loving, personal God

not a meaningless impersonal random accident, as the evolutionists teach. Life has meaning and purpose. Life is good. The word “Good” has meaning.

2. You and I were created in the Image of God

not in the image of monkeys or primordial sludge, an idea that has led to genocide and mass murder.

3. Our purpose in life is not to maximize our own pleasure, but to be of service to others, and give thanks to God.

and enjoy the blessings God promises for obedience; but not to pursue those blessings apart from worship of God and service to others. Abraham is our Model.

4. "Love your enemies," and "forgive 70 x 7."

not seek vengeance. A world where people are patient and forgiving is better than a world of retaliation. The amount of money you lose to robbers is less than the amount you pay in taxes to avoid being robbed.

5. Beat your "swords into plowshares" so everyone can dwell securely under his own Vine & Fig Tree.

According to America's Founders, this was the original "American Dream." Even they only saw the tip of the iceberg.

6. "Peace on Earth"

This was the announcement by the angels to the shepherds at the first Christmas. Nobody in first century Palestine could have imagined that the earth would someday have billions of human beings claiming to be Christians. Prior to the birth of Christ, a large fraction of human beings died violent deaths. The Coming of Christ changed the world. Today, most people enjoy peace. (Despite the blood-thirsty slant of the mainstream secular media.) The Bible has transformed a "primitive" world into civilization as we knew it.

7. Study the Bible and remind yourself of these truths every single day.

Great men -- like Thomas Jefferson and George Washington -- read the Bible for an hour each day. Great Nations -- like America -- taught the Bible every day in every classroom in the country. And you're going to settle for one 20-minute "sermon" a week? With five minutes of human oration for every one minute of God's Word? You need to enroll in a daily program of Bible study if you want to be

  • An Extraordinary American,
• An Extraordinary Christian,
  • An Extraordinary Human Being

(These were the three goals of Samuel Adams, "Father of the American Revolution")

How does this coaching program work?

My Coaching Program provides the three things you need that you're not getting once a week at church.

  1. A Curriculum
  2. A Coach
  3. A Community

1. A Curriculum

Once you enroll, you will receive a daily email with the daily assignment, or log in to the online members area. Read the assigned texts (on screen or buy the books), or download the audio files and listen as you drive to and from work, or as you exercise, or do mundane tasks around the house. In one year (365 days) we duplicate the Biblical Worldview Curriculum that American public schools students received in 1776 and before.

In just 20 minutes in the morning, 20 minutes in the evening, or any way you want to schedule it, after 365 days you will have read through the Bible and four other works that have been among the most important works in the history of America and western civilization. You will experience the most profound, beneficial, massive, and lasting personal transformation of your entire life.

2. A Coach

At the end of the week you'll get on the phone or Skype with Your Bible Coach and get some laser coaching about the issues that concern you, whether it be your understanding of the reading assignments or how to apply them in your life. There are often additional coaching sessions during the week as well. Accountability and encouragement accelerate your Christian growth.

3. A Community

Our password-protected online Members' Area consists of people like you who want to understand and apply the Bible. No trouble-makers, no goofy interpretations, no "hidden secrets," no "numerological codes," no wacky conspiracy theories -- just good-natured encouragement and practical advice from people who are dedicated to becoming "perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works," You'll make friends for life. Arrange family vacations. Make joint-venture business arrangements. "Where two or three are gathered" (Matthew 18:20) works online and off.

How Much Does This Coaching Program Cost?

It's free if you follow the assignments. One of the assignments is to become a mentor to others. I will pay you a 60% commission when you enroll someone at your work or at your church. Enroll two and your coaching program is paid for in full. Enroll more and start making some extra money.

Otherwise, I charge you minimum wage. Paying your coach (and not muzzling him) is part of Christian maturity and responsibility. You get more out of the program if you're invested in it.

You can start today for free, with no financial obligation. You pay when you step up to that level, or when you deem your coach to be "worthy of his hire." There are over 100 links on this page. Many are to Bible verses, but the rest are mostly pages I've written. They link to over 2,000 other pages I've written. They're all free. By enrolling in this paid program, you get the curriculum systematically delivered in bite-sized chunks, with laser coaching and all your questions answered. What Kind of Problems
Can You and Your Bible Coach Overcome?

We deal with all kinds of problems, except those that are caused by organic brain damage, or other problems which require surgery or pharmaceuticals.

Problems That Can Be Solved Through Personal Coaching
Taken from various coaching websites around the web

  1. Anxiety and phobias.
  2. Relationship problems, and problems of connecting with people in general: feeling socially inept and insecure, inability to express and share thoughts and feelings, extreme shyness.; lack of assertiveness, over-adaptation
  3. Depression: deep grief or despair; loneliness, abandonment isolation.
  4. Psychosomatic complaints not responding to medical care.

The next most common other motives are:

  1. Sexual problems.
  2. Addictions.
  3. Obesity and eating disorders.
  4. Being stuck or blocked: seeing no way out, feeling imprisoned, impotent rage.
  5. Loss of direction: Where to go? What to do? What is the meaning of life? Discovering the life plan.
  6. Inability to change: though understanding what the problem is and what should be done, nothing changes.
  7. Exploration: discovering and freeing hidden talents, personal development, increasing mental health.
These problems were not as widespread 200 years ago as they are today. Back then, people developed a Biblical worldview when they were young. They knew that they were put on earth to serve others. The whole of their lives was animated by Biblical purpose and enthusiasm. Children skipped "adolescence" entirely and became productive and fulfilled adults.

What kind of problems would you have to seek out a life coach? You would be stuck in some transition in your life and be unable to move past it. You might hate your job, and know what you want to do, but not be able to take the steps to get there. You might want to start your own business, go back to school, write that novel, start a relationship, end a relationship, or be going into retirement and not know how to handle the rest of your life.

Bangalore-based coach Sujit Sumitran says the issues could range from anger and stress management, interpersonal issues, a failed relationship, a stagnant career, work-life balance to relocation problems. Often people come for career advice and end up addressing other issues. Hollywood celeb Jennifer Aniston recently hired a life coach to help her find time for a baby. It's not surprising that life coaches partly attribute the increased demand for their services to the breakdown of the joint family system. The coach is now taking the place of the mother, father or some other elder, who gave counsel through life's decisions and conflicts.

Personal coaching is ideal for individuals who are making a transition, struggling with a career decision or relationship issue or seeking more balance and personal fulfillment. Personal coaching can help individuals make effective decisions, improve interpersonal communication skills, and cope successfully with change.

Individuals who want to live a bigger life

Professionals who desire more from their career

Adults who struggle with personal relationships

People trying to balance their work and life

Adults who have elderly parents and are trying to take care of them

People in a midlife transition

Women who are going through a divorce

Changes include, career change, layoff, relationship change, mid-life refocus, even a change in attitude!

What kind of problems can I talk to a coach about?
There are no hard and fast rules. If something is troubling you it can be worth spending some time thinking about why this may be happening. There are however a number of issues that frequently come up, for example:

  • Relationship difficulties.
    • Family and friends,
    • colleagues,
    • commitment,
    • jealousy,
    • abuse
  • Family issues.
    • Partners,

  • Repeated destructive behaviour. Binge eating, harming yourself, abusive relationships, alcohol, drugs
  • Exam and study stress. Feeling out of control, panic attacks, feelings of inadequacy
  • Bereavement. Grief, loss, anger, loneliness, sadness and depression

Coaching is not kind of psychological or psychiatric therapy. It is for mentally healthy people who just have difficulties in their lives and are trying to create satisfying life. This process is for people who want to be on higher level of their personal development. What kind of problems are tackled during coaching sessions? There are 3 kinds of coaching: life coaching, business coaching and team coaching. In area of life coaching are all themes concerning private life: relations with a partner, friends, children and parents. Business coaching concerns matters of work: relationships boss – employee, workers, professional career and dilemmas about career. However team coaching helps to create positive team bonds in companies. People have a coach often when they want to:

  • find solutions of important decisions of life such as move, change place of living and work, making choice of home
  • become independent
  • pass exam for driving license, exams after high school, studies and the other important exams for person
  • make effective plans for example about beginning/ continuing studies and/or learning foreign languages
  • be happy and get joy of life.

Top 5 Benefits of Hiring a Life Coach
  1. Feel better – To feel lighter, more relaxed, more confident, more authentic, more focused, more energized, etc. Hiring a life coach can be like hitting a reset button on your life. It’s an opportunity to start fresh. It is time set aside just for you … and to focus on you. It’s a chance to be self-full (not selfish). To spend time talking about what you REALLY want and what is truly important to you. Once you start to think about and focus on what you REALLY want, you naturally start to manifest it in your life.
  2. Create balance – You will move beyond going through the motions and only doing what you ‘have to’. You will start doing more of what you really want to. When you work with a good life coach you will find and create balance in your life as you spend time talking about your deep truths, your authentic desires and build a plan to get there. You will be taking regular time to give to yourself. This in itself creates balance. As you work on your personal development you are building your relationship with YOU. Our relationship to ourselves is the most important relationship we have. It directly impacts all other relationships in our life.
  3. Gain focus and clarity - With a good life coach you will start to get clear on what is a priority for you and how to stay focused on that. You will also get really clear and honest about where you are right now – how far off are you from where you really want to be? What is keeping you stuck? Your life coach will support you to make concrete goals and a clear vision of where you are headed. He will keep you on track and support you to get there. He will listen to you as you have never been listened to before. She will see you and hear you fully as your Authentic Self.
  4. Make wiser decisions – Once you hire a good life coach you start learning to trust your inner wisdom and intuition. You will actually start to think differently! It is as if you retrain your brain to appreciate the good and find the positive in your life. This allows you to look for solutions not problems. You will learn new ways to think and perceive your life and relationships. You will gain a wider perspective. You will receive unbiased, non-judgmental support and guidance. You will learn to stop Self Sabotage, self doubt and overcome restrictive beliefs.
  5. Get an action plan! – You will leave each session with inspired actions to take before your next session. You will get ideas and a plan to start creating what you want in you life. You must start doing something different to get different results. If you keep doing what you are doing you will get more of the same.

Why Hire a Life Coach? | Stretch Beyond Stuck Sanctuary

The best way to learn is to teach.

The best way to be healed is to empty yourself for the sick.

We require each of our clients to mentor at least two people during our year-long coaching program. You encourage someone who is going through the same materials you have already completed. This is a requirement of every mature Christian.

We do not believe it is necessary for anyone to be a "professional" in order to help bring about extraordinary personal transformation in another person.

And concerning you, my brethren, I myself also am convinced that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge and able also to admonish one another.
Romans 15:14

The word "admonish" is νουθετέω, noutheteo, which means, admonish, warn, exhort, counsel. It is a duty of all believers, not just "clergy" or state-licensed "professionals."

Ephesians 6:4
And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
Colossians 3:16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 5:14
Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
2 Thessalonians 3:15
Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother
Titus 3:10
A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject
Acts 20:31
Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
1 Corinthians 4:14
I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you.
1 Corinthians 10:11
Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
Colossians 1:28
Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
1 Thessalonians 5:12
And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;

"Amateurs" should not be barred from engaging in this kind of "coaching."

There are basically two parts to our coaching program.

  1. Pre-Season Training
We study and learn "the playbook" as a team. Every member of the football team needs to know the plays. Our "playbook" consists of the following:
    1. The Bible - Our only infallible standard.
    2. The Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms
    3. "Capitalism" - Providence and Peaceful Economics
    4. "Theocracy" - Providence and Government Under God
    5. "Optimillennialism" - Optimism concerning the possibility of Kingdom victory and "Peace on Earth."
This is sometimes referred to as "training" or "education," or "spiritual formation."
  2. Coaching/counseling/mentoring/consulting
, We help individuals overcome obstacles to carrying out the plays in their everyday lives.
We help expose blind spots. The Scriptural view of coaching involves three C’s—Concern, Confrontation, and Change. Out of concern for a brother or sister in trouble spiritually, one lovingly confronts him in order to bring about change that is pleasing to God.
Positively, We help individuals maximize their performance, and achieve their personal best in every area of their life.
This is where traditional "coaching" or "counseling" comes in.
We do not draw a critical distinction between "coaching," "counseling," "consulting," "mentoring," "spiritual formation," and "discipling," as some coaching programs do.

Like many other coaching programs, when we work with coaching clients individually ( #2 above, as distinguished from team instruction, #1 above),

  • We integrate the Core Competencies of Coaching as established by the International Coach Federation (ICF)
  • We structure questions in a genuinely exploratory manner to avoid 'leading' our clients
  • We exercise the ability to hear beyond our clients' words through their inflections, pace, energy, and even silence
  • We are comfortable in confusion, embracing questions in a true spirit of curiosity and discovery
  • We practice the skill of becoming 'invisible' as our clients listen to the Holy Spirit and their God-given desires
  • We help clients operationalize their visions, setting measurable goals and timelines
  • We use empowerment skills to place clients more in touch with their abilities and resources for dramatic life change
  • We foster accountability that really works - through you, not to you
  • We marshal pain and passion - the two great human motivators for change
  • We understand the stages of personal and spiritual growth, and meet our clients in their own unique stages
  • We encourage our clients, to overcome resistance to change, and help a client get 'unstuck'
1 Thessalonians 2:11
As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children,
1 Thessalonians 5:14
Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
  • We identify and work with core values, vision, purpose, and mission

Ideally, you would complete our training section before working on some of the tough problems below. But we can also begin working on them immediately. It is often the case that people who have not completed the training and have come to see the power of the Bible as a timeless textbook, find it difficult to pursue Biblical solutions to problems that are often labeled "psychological," that is, requiring a secular psychologist or other "professional." Here are some general indications of how we approach "psychological" problems:

Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome

Socialism brings alcoholism and suicide. As the United States becomes less American, and the American dream becomes a "utopian" hope or a relic of a bygone era, Americans become alienated from God's purposes for their lives. Socialism is oppressive, and victims of tyrannical oppression are traumatized. Parents laboring under oppressive taxation and economic uncertainty are less unable to nurture children, and today more teenagers die from suicide than from cancer, heart disease, AIDS, birth defects, stroke, pneumonia, influenza, and chronic lung disease combined. Many Americans are suffering from Pending-Traumatic Stress Syndrome, and these problems are exacerbated by the values of the mainstream media and unconstitutional government.

The Bible says we must walk by faith, not by sight, and our training program is the best system available for cultivating that faith. America's Founders had more of this faith and were better equipped to "secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity."

     This will surprise you . . .

You are suffering from

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

If you're like millions of Americans, you experience crippling stress every day
causing debilitating dislocations in one or more of
four major areas of your life:

Family Finances Fitness Faith

• Lost love for spouse
• Abuse of children
• Inability to form lasting relationships

• Failure to keep a job
• High-interest debt
• Wavering productivity

• Sickness, loss of health
• Low-Energy
• Overweight

• Devitalizing Doubt
• No purpose in life
• "Is God pleased with me?"

... and many other goals to achieve and problems to solve

This crippling stress is caused by a traumatic experience.

Deep down in your soul, you know this traumatic experience to be fundamentally evil or unfair. But your family, friends, church, or government all compel you to behave as if this traumatic experience is perfectly normal and acceptable. This causes

Cognitive Dissonance

"Dissonance" is the opposite of "harmony." "Cognitive" refers not just to your intellect, but the very fiber of your being. Your "soul." Your "spirit." The stress is killing you.

The evil that is traumatizing you by causing this "cognitive dissonance" is not a single event in your childhood or distant past.

It is an on-going evil that you witness every day.

Deep down in the very core of your being you know it's evil. You may be forced to participate in it. You know it shouldn't be this way. You can't escape it. You feel helpless. You ask, "Is there a God?"

The Way It Should Be

Before identifying the trauma that you experience, we need to realize that as a nation, we have lost sight of the way things should be.

When America knew the way things should be,
America was the most prosperous and admired nation in human history.
When America turned her back on the original "American Dream,"
the United States became bankrupt and despised even by our former admirers.

When Did This Happen?

Piece by piece, the Federal Government prohibited public schools from reminding us of the original "American Dream."

The average colonial American 17-year old in 1776 knew more about what it takes to make America a prosperous and virtuous nation than the average American adult in 2016. The average colonial American teenager would be horrified at the things American adults tolerate in 2016: Tyranny, public immorality, idiocy. Unbelievable.

Public schools were very different in 1776 than they are today. Music and entertainment were very different in 1776 than they are today. The government was very different in 1776 than it is today.

What was the original American Dream? In a nutshell,

The phrase "Vine & Fig Tree" comes from the fourth chapter of the prophet Micah, and is set forth here. You may have heard Micah's words before -- we beat our "swords into plowshares" and everyone dwells safely under their own "Vine & Fig Tree.

America's Founding Fathers were familiar with this vision: "Vine & Fig Tree" is the worldview that made America "the greatest nation on God's green earth." International peace and harmony with nature -- this is the way God created us to live.

According to the Library of Congress Website, George Washington was motivated by the Vine & Fig Tree vision revealed in the Bible:

"Under My Own Vine and Fig Tree, 1798" by Jean Leon Gerome Ferris, Lora Robins Collection of Virginia Art, Virginia Historical Society
Under My Own Vine and Fig Tree, 1798

Many other American Founders wrote of this ideal. "Vine & Fig Tree" is the original "American Dream."

The phrase occurs a number of times in Scripture. These references are visual reminders of the Hebrew word for salvation, which means
• peace,
• wholeness,
• health,
• progress, abundance, well-being, and
• private property free from pirates and princes.
When today's Americans hear the  word "salvation," they usually think about going to heaven when they die, after living a life of trauma and dislocation. When the writers of the Bible used the word "salvation," they wanted you to be thinking about dwelling safely under your own Vine & Fig Tree during this life -- much more often than they wanted you to be thinking about what you'll be doing in the afterlife.

Every American alive in 1776 could tell you something about the Vine & Fig Tree vision. The vast majority of Americans today have never heard of it. There are many explanations for this (and they might be called "conspiracy theories"), but the fact is that our schools and media are controlled by a government which America's Founders would call a "tyranny."

Today "the American Dream" means "owning your own home." But the word "own" means something very different than it did in 1776. Today, "owning" means "qualifying for a low-interest, fixed rate mortgage." It means the bank owns your home. Even if you pay your mortgage off, if you don't pay your property taxes the government will take your home. Even if you pay your taxes, the government can take your home and give it to speculators and land developers who promise the government that they will be able to build a mall and pay more taxes than you do to the government. This is called "eminent domain." The U.S. Supreme Court has said this is "constitutional." A man's home is no longer his castle.

The "Boston Tea Party" (1772) involved a tax on tea of three pence per pound of tea. Today we pay ten times (10x) more than that on every gallon of gas. The tyrannical government over you expropriates over 2/3 of everything you earn. America's Founders were outraged by "taxation without representation."  Twenty times more taxes, and only a fraction of the "representation." We are passively traumatized by it.

Americans were appalled by "The Boston Massacre" in 1770, in which five Americans were killed by British soldiers. Today, U.S. military bases are found in over 100 nations around the world, and since 1960, tens of millions of innocent non-combatant civilians have been killed, crippled, or made homeless by U.S. bombs and soldiers. Imagine a drone fires a missile at your children's wedding. Every day, U.S.-made weapons are killing innocent people. We all know about this, but each new generation suppresses the thoughts. This is trauma.

We eat junk food, and then get cancer. We know this is not way it's supposed to be. But we're too busy suppressing the trauma with sports and "adult toys," so we don't have time to grow our own healthy food.

We are all traumatized by global violence which brings profits to corporations, and empitness to human beings. We don't want to think about it. We spend billions of dollars a year for entertainment and amusement, psychotherapy, prescription drugs, or illegal drugs, because the bank owns our home, and the government owns our paycheck. We're not living the original "American Dream" under our own Vine & Fig Tree, and the trauma is killing us.

"Your" government -- The United States Federal Government -- is the most evil and dangerous entity on the planet. Other "governments" might be more evil (e.g., North Korea), but they are not more dangerous. The U.S. government threatens nuclear annihilation of entire continents if the interests of its corporate sponsors are interfered with. ¿Do you see your home in this image:

We live under the constant threat of alienation or annihilation. We see evil on our TVs every day. This is traumatizing us. It cripples us. It weakens our resolve to fight evil. We re-elect the same politicians every election. Or we don't vote at all.

We are created in the Image of God, hard-wired to transform a wilderness into a garden, and move us all closer to the City of God. When the government, the media, our neighbors, friends and even family all tell us to compromise our inborn standards and aspirations and pursue things which are transitory, plastic, unethical, and superficial, we are traumatized by this. We look for mentors and co-workers, but feel alone. We suffer dehumanizing trauma.

Treatment for American PTSD

Then they will hammer their
swords into plowshares
And their spears into pruning hooks;
Nation will not lift up sword against nation
And never again will they train for war.

And each of them will sit under his
Vine and under his Fig Tree,
With no one to make them afraid.
For the L
ORD of hosts has spoken.

Pursuing the Vine & Fig Tree vision is what it means to be human.

In just one year, our online home study program duplicates the colonial education that Americans received in the public schools of 1776. We don't teach "the 3 R's" (reading, writing and arithmetic); we teach the original American dream. We teach the worldview that made America "the greatest nation on God's green earth."  Twelve years of a colonial American one-room school house can be compacted into one year (365 days) of virtual online coaching. (Assuming you already know how to read.)

Our program is simple, but not easy.  There are three parts to this program:

  1. Cut out 1 hour per day of the mainstream media for 365 days;
  2. Substitute 40 minutes of the Vine & Fig Tree Coaching program; 20 minutes in the morning, 20 minutes in the evening;
  3. Become a mentor to two other people at home, work, school or church, by helping them fulfill steps 1 and 2 (and eventually 3). When you become a mentor to one other person, two people are transformed. And "where two or three are gathered together in My Name, there am I in the midst of them" (Matthew 18:20).

We Guarantee you will be transformed from ordinary to extraordinary, and as a Certified Coach for the Vine & Fig Tree Coaching program, you'll make a little money in the process, by coaching your friends and neighbors, encouraging them to overcome the traumatizing effects of a society that rejects God, and helping them become lifelong Vine & Fig Tree learners.

Become a Lifelong Learner

We all need to become "lifelong learners." Most people don't want to do their homework. America has become an "adolescent" nation. The concept of "adolescence" is relatively new. Children in the past were expected to grow up and become mature, productive adults at an earlier age than today. Obamacare treats people as old as 26 as children covered by their parents' insurance. "Adolescence" means assuming no adult responsibilities, and being free to gratify selfish child fantasies, subsidized by the previous generation.

It's Never Too Late to Go Back to Kindergarten

If you look at the details of our program, you may be overwhelmed. You are a victim of educational malpractice. But you are capable of learning as much and being as spiritually and morally whole as Americans were in 1776. Moral and spiritual wholeness, combined with a Christian education, creates a Biblical worldview which strengthens you and immunizes you against the trauma of atheistic tyranny. It helps you see the real problems and visualize effective solutions, and empowers and encourages you to take steps to be a part of the solution instead of being a part of the problem.

The Jews have a tradition called the "Bar Mitzvah," literally translated "son of command." It means you know how to obey God's Commandments. It means you have developed the internal fortitude to stand against evil and do the right thing. Its observance began centuries ago, when a 12 year-old was deemed to be an adult: not because he was gratifying his sexual urges before marriage ("adult movies"), but because he was mature in the faith, and was able to relate to authority, both good and bad, in a healthy way. He was ready to begin exercising dominion over the earth" (Genesis 1:26-28).

If you're an American adult, you are capable of much more than you think. You are using only a tiny fraction of the human potential with which you were endowed by your Creator.

Dr. J. H. Van den Berg of Utrecht, in the Netherlands, has written some very stimulating things in the history of psychology. In his book, The Changing Nature of Man (NY: Dell, 1961), he gives examples of mature "children." He cites the life of Theodore Agrippa d’Aubigne, Huguenot, friend of Henry IV, born in 1550:

Of d’Aubigne it is told that he read Greek, Latin and Hebrew when he was six years old and that he translated Plato into French when he was not yet eight. Plato. Montaigne recommended the reading and explaining of philosophical discourses to children. Well, if an eight year-old child can translate Plato, what objection can there be to reading a translated version to him when he is four? When d’Aubigne was still eight years old, he went through the town of Amboise, accompanied by his father just after a group of Huguenots had been executed. He saw the decapitated bodies; and at the request of his father, he swore an oath to avenge them. Two years later, he was captured by Inquisiteurs; the ten year-old boy’s reaction to the threat of death at the stake was a dance of joy before the fire. The horror of the Mass took away his fear of a fire, was his own later comment, as if a ten year-old boy could know what he meant by that. And yet, a child who has translated Plato and has been used to reading the classics for four years, could not such a child know what he wants and know what he is doing? But he can hardly be called a child. A person who observes the effects of an execution intelligently, who swears an oath to which he remains true through life, who realizes for himself the interpretation of the Holy Communion and who fathoms the horror of death at the stake -- he is not a child. He is a man.

Secular Americans who have lost touch with their Vine & Fig Tree roots are traumatized by ISIS beheadings.  Faith protects us from trauma. The majority of traumatic evil in this world is perpetrated by those who claim "authority." In the case of d’Aubigne, a union of "church" and "state." America's Founders were willing to risk their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor, because they were pursuing the Vine & Fig Tree vision.

Now one might say these were "child prodigies," and yet the interesting thing is how many of the great musicians of that period were child prodigies and how many of the ordinary people matured at the same age. The intellectual level back then was quite high, even among the common people. The level of preaching is ample evidence of this. The ability of church members to listen to lengthy sermons of sometimes two hours, to reproduce all thirty or forty points faithfully later in the week, and to debate them or discuss them, is well documented. There was a high order of discipline, and this discipline furthered the uses of intelligence.*

Consider the Constitutional Convention in this country. Go through and list the ages of those men at the time of the Constitutional Convention and they were a surprisingly youthful group. Franklin was the old man of the group, and Washington was far older than most of them. The average person there was a generation or so younger than Washington. They were young men. Not only were they young men in their 30’s but most of them had been military officers, judges, governors, for a number of years. They reached maturity in their teens because there was a different concept of discipline. Today's law students complain when they are assigned The Federalist Papers, but the "Papers" were originally newspaper columns for ordinary American farmers.

If a colonial American teenager could travel through time from 1776 to our day today, he would tell you Five Things you need to know about the trauma you have experienced, and he would recommend you read Five Books that were banned from the public school you attended. These Five Books are the most important books in the history of Western Civilization. Despite our "smart phones," we are now an uncivilized people. We are powerless and passive in the face of traumatic evil.
